How Better Clinical Communication Empowers Nurses
Happy National Nurses Week! May 6th marks the beginning of National Nurses Week, the annual observance that recognizes the contributions nurses make to the community and honors the integral care they provide to us and our loved ones. For 2017, the American Nurses Association designated this “The Year of The Healthy Nurse”. Here at TigerConnect Clinical Collaboration Platform – Standard, we’re happy to celebrate these men and women who lead the charge each day for health and wellness.
Working day-in and day-out with hospitals and health systems of all sizes, we get a chance to see first hand just how important nurses are to patient care. Nurses are the hub of care team communication and workflow. Beyond the physical support and care they provide, nurses also provide emotional support to patients and their family members. Try doing that on a daily basis with poise, diligence, and confidence.
As the “heart” of the care team, effective communication is critical for nurses to do their job. Having a powerful communication tool can help curb issues that may affect the nurses’ personal wellness such as compassion fatigue, low morale, and burnout. One of our top priorities at TigerConnect Clinical Collaboration Platform – Standard is to improve the lives of nurses through better secure clinical communication. For a more in-depth look at strategies that help nurse teams realize time savings, productivity gains, and improvements to the quality of care, download our eBook: Communication Optimization for Nurses.
We want all nurses, regardless of their facility type to have the tools they need to be successful. Check out this infographic below to find out how TigerConnect Clinical Collaboration Platform – Standard can do just that.
