The Summer 2026 Product Release represents some exciting innovations, including new AI capabilities within TigerConnect Scheduling, that will advance how care is activated in the hospital.  

On this page is a summary of the features included in the release, including those offered through our Early Access Program, and those that are now Generally Available. 

Current TigerConnect customers have the unique opportunity to test enhancements ahead of their general release and provide feedback that will shape the future of our platform.

TigerConnect Physician Scheduling
  • AI Scheduling Engine: An AI automation engine that applies your rules and assignment logic, honors provider preferences, and uses templates to build complete provider schedules in minutes. After each build, an AI-generated summary surfaces coverage gaps and staffing risks, so schedulers know exactly where to adjust and resolve issues.
  • AI Scheduling Agent: An AI agent embedded in the TigerConnect secure messaging app that lets teams ask about on-call coverage, request and execute shift swaps, and pull up provider contacts using plain language. Detailed schedule and contact information are returned so clinicians can easily connect with the right person to coordinate care — no app-switching required.

  • Closed-Loop Alerting: An outbound HL7 integration that automatically delivers TigerConnect notification acknowledgement data to the originating system, closing the communication loop.

TigerConnect Smart Room
  • Touch-Enabled Whiteboard: Interactive touchscreen support for the Digital Whiteboard where clinical staff can view expanded patient information, draw freehand, annotate anatomical images, and pull up radiology images — all on one screen.

TigerConnect Nurse Call
  • Patient Badge Alerting: An integration with wearable Sonitor patient badges extends nurse call coverage to patients in ED holding areas. Patients can press a single button to send a call directly to TigerConnect Nurse Call, no fixed nurse call devices required.

TigerConnect Physician Scheduling
  • Scheduling Work Patterns: Reusable weekly assignment templates you can apply across providers and date ranges. Preview conflicts, undo with a click, and manage every pattern from one library. 
  • Epic On-Call Finder Integration: An integration that automatically sends TigerConnect Scheduling data to Epic so Epic Hyperspace users can view on-call schedules directly within Epic On-Call Finder — no manual exports.

TigerConnect Clinical Collaboration
  • Persona-Based Settings: Centralized, persona-level configuration for Message Lifespan and PIN Lock settings so user groups automatically inherit the defined policy. 
  • Flag & Filter Conversations: Flag conversations and important threads for quick access through a dedicated, filtered inbox view. 
  • Pin Conversations: Pin conversations to the top of the inbox using familiar gestures — a simple press, hover, or swipe. Pins sync across every device in under 5 seconds. 

NOTE: Flag & Filter and Pin Conversations are enhancements for individual user-level inbox interaction. These enhancements will be enabled for all users on June 30th and they cannot be disabled. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.

TigerConnect Smart Room
  • Google Cast: Patients stream their favorite content from their personal device to the Interactive TV in their room using LG’s native Google Cast client and built-in wireless access point — no special credentials, no IT support required.

TigerConnect Nurse Call
  • Smart Room RTLS Integration: An integration between TigerConnect Nurse Call RTLS and smart room systems that identifies caregivers and automatically displays their information on the patient’s bedside TV or digital whiteboard, the moment they enter the room.  
  • VoIP-Enabled Call Answer Terminal (CAT): VOIP eliminates the hardwired connection to nurse call infrastructure, allowing facilities to centralize patient call answering on or off campus. Staff maintain full two-way audio with patient stations and can answer, cancel, and trigger workflows remotely without sacrificing patient safety.
