Each May, we celebrate National Nurses Month, a time to recognize the incredible contributions and dedication of our nation’s nurses. This year’s theme from the American Nurses Association (ANA), “Nurses Make the Difference,” perfectly encapsulates the vital role nurses play at the very core of healthcare. 

Nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system, providing compassionate care, advocating for their patients, and working tirelessly to ensure optimal health outcomes. They wear many hats, from educators and researchers to patient advocates and emotional support systems. During National Nurses Month, we take the opportunity to express our deepest gratitude for everything they do, and we must continue to support them and invest in their well-being.

This award program allows us to honor exceptional nurses who consistently go above and beyond in patient care. 

Do you know a nurse who exemplifies the spirit of nurses who make a difference? We encourage you to nominate them for this prestigious award that recognizes nurses who consistently demonstrate: 

• Exceptional patient care: Their dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care shines through in everything they do. 
• Leadership and collaboration: They inspire colleagues and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. 
• Commitment to the profession: They actively participate in professional development and go the extra mile to enhance the nursing field. 

US residents in any nursing role can be nominated for these awards now through May 10th. Winners will be announced May 27, 2024. This year’s grand-prize winner will receive a pair of Apple AirPods Max (worth $549), and four honorees will also receive a prize package including a FIGS Scrubs gift card, On-Cloud Shoes gift card and a Stanley tumbler.
