TigerConnect Smart Room seamlessly connects to technology you already have in place, whether that’s your EHR, meal ordering, environmental controls, RTLS, nurse call, virtual nursing, or clinical communication tools, through an extensive integration library and vendor-neutral integration support for standards-based protocols like HL7, ensuring information flows seamlessly throughout the patient room and entire hospital.

Unique bidirectional integrations, such as automated documentation of completed patient education in Epic, help bridge the gap between care teams, patients, and technology, saving nurses time while elevating the healthcare experience for all.

TigerConnect does not offer its own Virtual Nursing solution. Instead, we partner with several leading Virtual Nursing providers and have integrations designed to support their platforms within the Smart Room environment. Our system is compatible with any camera hardware, allowing hospitals to use their existing cameras or preferred vendors while enabling Virtual Nursing through trusted third-party solutions TigerConnect already works with.

A Digital Door Sign is a room-entry safety and awareness display placed outside a patient room that pulls real-time clinical status and precautions from the EHR, such as isolation indicators, required PPE, and key safety alerts, and can support clinician-added updates when needed, whereas Digital Signage and wayfinding are typically facility-wide communications tools used for general messaging, directories, or navigation rather than patient-room entry safety context.
