TigerText Adds Former Oracle Exec to Lead Global Sales Team; Company Expands Sales Leadership to Support Rapid Growth

SANTA MONICA, CA (October 30, 2014) – TigerText, the leader in secure, real-time messaging for the enterprise, today announced Justin Nelson has joined the company in the newly created position of Chief Sales Officer. Nelson will oversee and manage TigerText’s enterprise sales, inside sales, and channel teams.

With an MBA in Economics from Purdue University and more than 18 years of experience in enterprise cloud and on-premise solutions for web customer service, contact centers, and social customer service, Nelson most recently served as Vice President of Oracle’s (NYSE: ORCL) Service Cloud, overseeing the Healthcare and Life Sciences division. In the role, he helped organizations improve their customer experience, and was instrumental in implementing a demand generation program that increased Oracle’s Healthcare and Life Sciences funnel by 300%. Prior to Oracle, Nelson spent three years at IP phone system and communications solutions provider, ShoreTel (NASDAQ: SHOR), where he led the European sales team and delivered 26% year-over-year revenue growth. Nelson also worked for several other business collaboration and communication solution providers including Avaya, XO Communications, IBM and more. As TigerText’s Chief Sales Officer, Nelson will lead and guide the TigerText sales force into expanding markets.
