Web Console 5.5.1 Secure Chats Last Longer

Messaging people who don’t use TigerConnect Clinical Collaboration Platform – Standard yet

Sometimes you need to have a secure back-and-forth with a colleague, but they’re not using TigerConnect Clinical Collaboration Platform – Standard. Whether it’s because they haven’t downloaded the app yet, or because they’re not currently logged in, it’s not a problem. In the prior version, you could exchange only one message, but now we’re upgrading the chat session so you can have a more extended conversation.

Previously recipients of a chat session link were limited to one reply. With this upgrade, they now have a full sixty minutes of unlimited conversation and admins can reset this time window for their users to any length of time between one minute and 24 hours.

To begin a secure browser conversation with someone who is not using TigerConnect Clinical Collaboration Platform – Standard, find them in your org directory and send a message just as you would for someone who is using the app. They will get a link to the secure chat session where they will find your message.

How to access these features:

  • The new function will be automatically available upon release to all users across all devices. Admins can set the time limit for the secure chat session within the Org Settings Tab of their Admin Console.
