Joanna Edge, RN, BSN

Joanna comes to TigerText directly from SigmaCare, where she provided EHR consultancy to Long Term Care customers.  Prior to SigmaCare, Joanna practiced in the acute care environment for 7+ years, and then she led a nurse staffing business, where she spent 10+ years working to place the most qualified nurses in hospitals and other care settings nationwide.  Joanna knows first-hand how technology can positively affect patient care and outcomes, which is what she is most passionate about!

Karen Kennedy, RN, BS, MBA

Karen is a champion of TigerText and an expert with clinical informatics- she serves as a trusted advisor to potential and current clients in their use of the TigerText healthcare workflow solution. Karen’s previous role was with Scripps Health and started her career as a staff nurse at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ in the pediatric medical-surgical and intensive care units. Throughout her career, she worked in several healthcare arenas and gained expertise in case management, quality, home care, hospice, and education. Positions include Regional Clinical Informaticist, Senior Director of Education & Compliance, Corporate Regional Compliance Specialist, and Continuous Quality Improvement Manager (CQIM). Karen’s informatics background includes project manager during implementation & conversions of EHRs to include: Epic, Cerner, McKesson, Meditech, and HMS. Karen completed her undergraduate work at the University of Medicine & Dentistry (UMDNJ), and her MBA at the University of Phoenix.
